Colors are an important part of weddings. When you first think of the word wedding you will naturally think of white. That is the natural color of Western weddings. Yet every wedding will have a color scheme. A color scheme is important because it helps unify everything. And by everything I mean the dresses, the flowers, the tablecloths and anything else you can think of that goes into a wedding. So for example, a specific shade of red can be replicated on anything from a dress to the napkins to the handles on the cake cutter. One of the ways Pantone markets itself is that it comes up with colors for different industries. Including weddings.

In 2015 the colors were:

And in 2016 those colors have been replaced by:

• Rose Quartz
• Peach Echo
• Serenity
• Snorkel Blue
• Buttercup
• Limpet Shell
• Lical Gray
• Fiesta
• Iced Coffee
• Green Flash

This doesn't mean you can't still stick with traditional white for the wedding dress. But if you want to be on trend then you should look into choosing one of those color combinations.
